David spent his early years in Oregon. He was born and began grade school in Western Oregon; moving to Bend in Central Oregon in the mid 1950s. As a young adult he worked at the lumber mill in Bend; later moving for a brief time to Los Angeles, CA and then to Kingman, Arizona. He belonged to the carpenters union for many years. His relaxation time was spent hunting and fishing. In later life he resided in Lupton, Arizona where he worked as a Silversmith, a profession he loved. David died in the hospital at Kanab, Utah of lung cancer at the age of 54.
