Lydia J. (nee Nixon) Sizemore, 82, of Elyria, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at the home of her daughter in Elyria.
She was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Coburn, Va., and was a resident of Elyria since 1953. She was employed at several restaurants and nursing homes in Elyria and Brunswick.
She is survived by her son, William J. Sizemore of Elyria; daughters, Linda A. Plascak of Spencer and Teresa A. Roberts of Elyria; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Wilburn of Beckley, W.Va., Pearl Rose, Lurain Waldon, Frances Harlow and Dorothy Rose; and brothers, William and Robert Nixon, both of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sizemore, in 1998; sons, Warren Sizemore, in 2006, and James Burke, in 2004; and sisters, Wanda Corey and Edna Stockley.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Dicken Funeral Home,Elyria. The Rev. Robert Gross will officiate.
Burial: Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
