Debbie F. Jordan, 50, of Alamogordo, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in Alamogordo.
Debbie was born Oct. 7, 1958, in El Paso to Dr. Robert C. and Faye L. (Riepe) Clapp. She graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1976 and attended New Mexico State University-Alamogordo, where she was on the dean's list. She was employed by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 4101.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Jordan, of Tucson, Ariz., and Sarah Jordan, of Alamogordo; two grandchildren, Faith and Develyn, both of Alamogordo; her mother, Faye Clapp, of Alamogordo; a brother, Steve Kestrel and his wife, Cindi, of Fort Collins, Colo.; a sister, Reba Brown and her husband, Phil, of Longview, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Stuart Clapp.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. in the Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel with the Rev. Mary Taken officiating.
Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.
