Ernest served honorably with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Wells Fargo Bank.

Ernest is survived by his wife, Ana Bisserier/Pearson; daughter Joy Carpenter and son-in-law Dick, and five grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2009, and a Funeral Service on Thursday, February 12, 2009, all at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA.

In recognition of his faithful service in the US Army, he will be laid to rest with honor at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, California. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
