She was born Oct. 26, 1957, in Amarillo. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1975. She attended Amarillo College and taught classes in banking. She was a teller and branch manager of First National Bank. She was a volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Beef-A-Thon, the MS Walk-A-Thon and the Canadian Bike-A-Thon.
Survivors include her husband, Donald of Amarillo; two daughters, Christi Milligan Emmons of Slaton and Vanese Milligan Pierson of Lubbock; a sister, Linda Henry of Amarillo; and four grandchildren.
