Freda Seibel (Witt), 86, a Lodi resident since 1949, died Thurs. in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Russia and came to this country as a child and grew up in Bismark, ND. She married Henry D Seibel in ND in 1924. The family farmed in ND until 1933 when they moved to Galt. They moved to Lodi in 1949. Mr. Seibel
died in 1966.
Mrs. Seibel is survived by a daughter, Martha Schmierer of Lodi; a grandson, Michael Schmierer of Davis; a granddaughter, Sandra Stevens of Lodi; and a great-grandson.
Friends are invited to attend graveside services Mon. at 1pm at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Lodi Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
