William Baker was my great-great Grandfather, father of William Manning Jackson Baker, grandfather of Charles Carey Baker, and great-grandfather of my father, Marvin Jerrel Baker.

William was a wanderer, and the last recollection my grandfather had of his grandfather was around Spring 1912, while working in the cotton fields near Glennville, Georgia (Tattnall County), William stopped him and told him he was leaving town. That was the last he was seen in the area.
