OBITUARIES
Ivern M. Bradley
Roy - Ivern M. Bradley, 67, of 5973 S. 1900 W., died Monday morning of a heart attack.
Mr. Bradley was born Sept. 13, 1899, in Huntington, Utah, a son of James and Laura Draper Bradley.
On Dec. 17, 1919, he was married to Ivy (Billie) Ward in Salt Lake City. They later received endowments in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had resided in Salt Lake City and Provo and came to Roy 25 years ago.
He was a retired guard for Hill Air Force Base and for the past three years had been a parking lot attendant at the Commerical Security Bank.
He was a member of the Roy Third LDS Ward and a high priest in the Roy Stake. He was a former MIA superintendent, high priest group secretary and home teacher. He had been an active temple worker. He was a member of the American Legion in Salt Lake City and was a former first vice commander of American Legion in Provo. He served in the Army during World War I and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Retired Civil Service Employee. He was formerly active in Little League Baseball.
Surviving are his widow, one son, Ivern (Jerry) M. Bradley, Granger, Utah; one daughter, Mrs. James (Rosa Larrie) Naccarato, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Manley Bradley, American Fork; Robert Bradley, California; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Laura Mills, Price; Mrs. Guy (Elouise) Curtis, Cleveland, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Grant Blake of the Roy Third Ward officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Burial in Redwood Memorial Gardens, Salt Lake County.
