Aaron Prall was baptized in 1698 in the Port Richmond Dutch Church on Staten Island, Richmond County, New York. He died ca. 1756, probably in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, about the age of 58. Witnesses to his baptism were Thomas and Frances Stillwell. (Stillwell, Misc. v. 1, p. 132)

His first wife's name is unknown. His second wife was Marytjen Whittiker, daughter of James Whittiker and Lysbet Titso "Titsort," whom he married on Jun 1, 1728 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. She was baptised on Feb 11, 1700 in Kingston, New York and died ca. Nov 9, 1760 about the age of 60. Aaron was listed as a 30 year old widower, Mary as 28 years old and single.

Aaron is listed in the 1706 Staten Island census in the "under 16" column with his brothers Peter and Cornelius. (Stillwell, Misc., v. 1, p. 153)

Aaron and his younger brothers Peter and Cornelius settled on a large tract of virgin land purchased by their father on the southwest side of Neshanic River about three miles northeast of the present-day town of Ringoes. A major early-day Indian trail, later developed and named the York Road by the English, crossed the land. The York Road was the earliest road between New York City and Philadelphia. Today, Highway 513 closely follows this route.

In 1733, Aaron signed his name "Aarant Praal" on his brother Cornelius' estate papers. He had been named in Cornelius' will as his brother and served as the co-executor with the widow.

Aaron acquired the northern 250 acres of the 1000 acre tract prior to 1749. In 1751, Aaron purchased another 150 acres.

Aaron died without a will in the late 1750s, during the French and Indian War. The entire estate went to his eldest son James on Oct 18, 1757.
