(New information given by an ancestor, Kathy Harrold of Winston-Salem that he never served in the Civil War nor did he have a middle name).

She was widowed by 1900. Issue: Rosa J., Frances Kate (born January 1870)and married W. Norman in 1893 (born May 1870), John F., Joseph G. (born April 1874), Sol (born June 1877), Anna W. (born January 1882), Ben (born October 1888), Henry Clay (born November 16, 1879 and died June 30, 1902), and George (born September 1884.
