BROOKS, AILEEN BAYS, 80, of Louisville, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2001 at the Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was born on September 6, 1922, the daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie Bays.

She was a storekeeper of Brooks Grocery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cecil Brooks; daughter Cecil Ann Frith and sister, Edith Ralson. Survivors include her son, Gary and Naomi Brooks of Louisville; grandchildren, Danny and Diane Frith of Knoxville and Tammy and Greg Rader of Lawrenceburg, TN; great-grandchildren, Scotty and Shannon Frith and Lindsey and Dylan Rader; sisters, Christine Lawson and Evelyn Branum; brothers, Ronnie, Lonnie, and Timmy Bays and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were held at 8 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Bays.

Music will be by Terry Branum. Burial followed in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, is honored to serve the Brooks family.
