He was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in the Philppines with honors and a member of the Patterson Masonic Lodge in Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Daisy Davenport Eggers; wife Hazel Reves, three brothers, two sisters.
Survived by one son; two daughters and their husbands; grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
