SAM GENTRY, FORMER GAME WARDEN, IS DEAD
Sam F. Gentry died at his home in Stanford from a self-inflicted wound. Failing health is believed to be the cause.
He is survived by his wife and three small children; his father, C. V. Gentry, of Stanford, and one sister, Mrs. J. O. Allen, of Lebanon.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. R. F. Ockerman, pastor of the Methodist church, assisted by Rev. C. E. McLean, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Mr. Gentry was a former game warden and was much liked and esteemed in Harrodsburg and Mercer.
