Funeral Services for Lon Horton, 72, of Bruin, who died Thursday, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Lewis-Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook by the Rev. Charles Vansant. Burial will be in the Elliott County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Horton was born Nov 7, 1902 in Carter county, a son of the late John Will and Laura Belle Mobley Horton. His wife, Mrs. Catherine M. Calles Horton preceded him in death.
Surviving are three brothers, June Horton of Ashland, Pete Horton of Bruin and Estelle Horton of Camden, O.
The body is at the funeral home where friends may call.
He died in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Huntington, WV.
