MRS. LAURA BELL HORTON
Mrs. Laura Bell Horton , 88, Bruin, died Sunday night in Kings Daughter's Hospital following an extended illness.
Born Jan. 29, 1883, in Carter County, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Sena Kitchen Mobley. Her husband, John Will Horton, preceded her in death several years ago.
Survivors include four sons: Lon M. and William L. (June) Horton, both of Ashland, Charles E. (Pete) Horton of Bruin, and Estill Horton of Middletown, O., nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lewis& Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook by the Rev. Charles VanSant. Burial will be in Elliott COunty Memory Gardens.
