Jeremiah Pratt was the son of Stephen Pratt 1784 and Drusiclla Loveland.

He married Mary Gano in 1840. The couple had one child Mary Evalina 1843, died in 1843. Mary Gano died in 1843.

Jeremiah married second Julia Ann Snyder. This couple had four children, Ambrose 1844, Mary Jane (Thomas Adelbert Dell) Hoose 1848, De Ette (Adam Lucius Cyrus) Kilts 1849, Elbert Milan 1853.

Jeremiah married third Delia Hubbard Bice. A farmer, he lived in Middlefield all of his life.

The Otsego Farmer, Friday, April 7, 1899

Westville - Jeremiah Pratt, an old and respected citizen of this place, after several weeks of lingering illness, died at his home Thursday of last week at the advanced age of 81 years. He leaves besides his widow one son Elbert Pratt of South Hartwick, and two daughters Mrs. Hoose, and Mrs. C. Kilts of Milford. The Rev. J.A. Glenn officiated at the funeral services. Interment in the Baptist cemetery.
