Stephen Otis Pratt was the son of Stephen Pratt(1784) and Drusilla Loveland. He married in 1833 Sally or Sarah Gillett, the daughter of C Marcus Gillett in Middlefield, Otsego, New York.

The couple moved moved about 1834 to New Albion, Cattaraugus, New York.

Children: Lavantia (Jonas D) Sutcliffe 1834, Lovina 1835-1845, Samantha 1836, Stephen Otis 1837, Eldon P 1839 died young, Almira (Jonas D) Sutcliffe 1841, Thomas 1843, Calvin Benjamin 1845, Clara (Morgan Theron) Whipple 1856.
