Audrey Dale Shuler Springer, 92, of Sylva passed away January 5, 2012 at Mountain Trace Nursing Home. She joins in heaven her husband, Clyde Lee Springer, who passed away in 2003. She was the daughter of Milas and Maria Blanton Shuler. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William (Bill) and Teresa Springer of Fletcher, NC and daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Jerry Fullbright of Sylva, NC, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was the oldest surviving member of Buff Creek Baptist Church. She was retired from the Jackson County School system as a cafeteria assistant.
The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm, Sunday, January 8, 2012, a funeral service conducted by Reverend Wayne Sorrells and Reverend Joshua Blythe will be at 3:00 pm at Melton Funeral Home in Sylva followed by an interment service at Addie Cemetery in Sylva, NC. Pallbearers are: Keith Shuler, Tim Shuler, Carroll Henson, Bobby Davis, Ethan Davis and Patrick Springer.
