Rufus H. Vest Dies at Boswell Friday
Rufus Harvey Vest, life-long resident of this county, died at Boswell, Friday, December 23, at the age of 68 years. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ann Vest; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Armstrong of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Nobie (sp) Musgrove of Boswell; two sons, O.T. Vest of Batesville and Hubert Vest of Mountain Home; one brother, Ben Vest of Boswell; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Cook of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Nancy Jones of Oxford and five grandchildren.
Funeral Services were conducted Saturday by Rev. H.W. Wooten, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Batesville. Burial was in the Combs Cemetery, with the Crouch Funeral Home in charge.
