She married Jewell Nolan Neal April 1929. They had five children.
Mrs. Neal spent her lifetime in the Success community, where the Neals raised their children on the family farm. They were married 62 years.
Mrs. Neal loved her home, quilting, gardening, flowers and being outdoors. She attended the Union Free Will Baptist Church, which used to be known as Gladden. She served in whatever capacity needed. She loved doing for others, helping her neighbors, having her family home and cooking meals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1991; four brothers, Fairel Pittman, Homer Pittman, Elmer Pittman and Everett Pittman; two sisters, Eva Harper and Ethel Pittman; seven half brothers and sisters, Obe McCoy, Charley, Harvey McCoy, Lum McCoy, Gip McCoy, Dinah Powers and Oma Rodman.
Surviving are her children, Lance and Dean Neal of Bucyrus, Lexey Neal of Success, Edith Daniels of Mountain Grove and Delta Meizler of Chandler, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 19 at the Union Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Postlewait officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Lane Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
