YOAKUM—Funeral services for William H. Albrecht, 70, of Route 2, were held Thursday at Buffington Chapel and at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Jansky officiated and interment was in the Shiner Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Albrecht died at the local hospital March 12 at 11:50 a.m.
He was born in Lavaca County, March 27, 1891.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Albrecht of Route 2; seven sons, Edward Albrecht of Victoria; Anton and Charles Albrecht of Houston; George Albrecht of Yoakum; Fred, Frank and Steve Albrecht, all of Ohio: three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Zissa, Houston; Mrs. Agnes Pesek and Mrs. Millie Fishbeck, both of Yoakum; three brothers, Joe of Moulton, Henry of Kerrville and Charlie Albrecht of Yoakum; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Marburger of Omaha, Nebraska and Mrs. Laura Oberding of Portland, Oregon; and eight grandchildren.
