According to obituary and 1900 census; he & wife had 11 children. I can only account for 9.

T.S. Bishop could not read or write (see 1870 census) as most during the civil war era. The spelling of his name comes into question. The census people spelled the same person's name over the years in various ways. His obit reads "IN MEMORY OF TILLMAN S. BISHOP" and 1850, 1910 & Civil War services has Tillman, 1900 & 1860 & death certificate Tilman, 1870 Tillmon, 1880 census has Tilgman. His son and son's son were named Tillman also. They too have the same first name spelling issues but both went by their middle names.

His death certificate lists birth date as May 27, 1839, where as his headstone lists May 21, 1837. Death Informant was his son W. Warren Bishop.

Obituary:
IN MEMORY OF TILLMAN S. BISHOP
At 9 o'clock on the morning of February 22, 1917, at his home near Magee, Brother Tillman Bishop's spirit took its flight from this world.

The subject of this sketch was born May 27, 1839; was married July 19, 1862, to Pollie Sullivan, and unto them were born eleven children, five sons and six daughters. They fought life's battles together for 54 years. His age was 77 years, 8 months and 26 days. He leaves a wife, two daughters and five sons, one of whom is Rev. T. W. Bishop, a strong pastor also a member of board of supervisors; and one sister.

Brother Bishop united with old Concord Baptist Church in the summer of 1865 and has lived a consistent Christian life during these many years. The family has lost a loving husband and kind, devoted father; the church a loyal member; and the community a loyal, patriotic citizen.
Brother Bishop's health had been failing for several years and he was confined indoors about six months before death.
His remains were buried in Magee cemetery after services by the writer and Bro. L. S. Terry. May God's richest blessings be upon the bereft, especially the aged companion.

Weep not loved ones for: "Heaven now retains our treasure, Earth the lonely casket keeps, But the sunbeams long to linger Where our sainted loved one sleeps. Dearest father, we have laid thee In the peaceful grave's embrace, But thy memory shall be cherished Till we see thy heavenly face." Their friend and pastor, W. L. MEADOWS.
