Harvey O. Lodholz
Harvey O. Lodholz, 83, Wausau, died Friday, June 23, 2006, at Wausau Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 31, 1923, in the town of Berlin, son of the late Arthur and Martha (Wendorf) Lodholz. On May 19, 1945, he married Laura Voigt in the town of Hamburg. She survives.
Harvey drove a milk truck for Rusch Trucking, then had been employed at Wausau Papers for 39 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Lodholz, Wausau; a son, the Rev. Gary D. (Lois) Lodholz, Fifield; two grandchildren, Timothy (Allyson) Lodholz, Eagan, Minn., and Heidi (Brian) Anderson, Lawton, Iowa; three great-grandchildren, Samuel Anderson, Kristian Lodholz and Gabriel Lodholz; one brother, Peter (Mary) Lodholz, Hazelton, Iowa; and three sisters, Dorothy Beyersdorff, Wausau, Verna (Orville) Thurs, Plymouth, Minn., and Florence (Roy) Williamson, Wausau. Besides his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. Dennis Pegorsch will officiate. Entombment will be in Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Wausau Manor for the fine care extended to Harvey during the time he was with them.
