Mrs. Dewey R. (Ruth Virginia Adams) Bunner, 95, of Maroa died 8:55 a.m. Tuesday (June 18, 1991) in Woodland Nursing Center, Mount Zion.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Maroa Christian Church with the Rev. Edward G. Barnes officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Maroa. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery. Memorials: Maroa Christian Church.

Mrs. Bunner was born in Maroa on Aug. 25, 1895, daughter of Edgar and Harriet Price Adams. she was formerly the owner of the Antique Store in Maroa and also Bunner Grocery Store. She was a member of the Maroa Christian Church, member and past worthy matron of Rose Acacia Order of the Eastern Star, member of Rebekah Lodge and Flower Club of Maroa. She married Dewey R. Bunner in Maroa on October 1, 1916. He died in 1968.

Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Donald (Alberta) German of Melbourne, Fla.; Mrs. John (Barbara) Shinn of Decatur; brothers, Herbert Adams of flint, Mich.; Charles Adams of Mount Zion; sister, Esther Osborn of Maroa; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, one daughter, Harriett Dady; five brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter and one great-grandson preceded her in death.
