Mrs. Adams was born in Catlin, Ind. on August 17, 1875, a daughter of David and Elizabeth Van Horn Price. On Sept. 5, 1894, she married Edgar Adams in Decatur. He died in June 1929.
She was a member of the Maroa Bible Church.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Bunner (Ruth), Mrs. John (Esther) Osborn of Maroa, and Mrs. W.R. (June) Burns of Lake Park, Fla.; two sons, Herbert of Maxwell, Calif., and Charles of Decatur; a half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Garside Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Six children preceded her in death.
Services were conducted by Rev. Richard Randall and Rev. Leo Sherill in the Ruble Funeral Home. Mrs. Sherill and Mrs. Le Roy Wilson furnished music.
Burial was in Maroa Cemetery.
Casketbearers were Kenneth Shafer, Kenneth Smith, Herbert Dady, Jack Shinn, Merle Adams and William Kunz.
