Abstract-- age 79, of Newburg, died last Friday in Grafton City Hospital. He was born May 13, 1877 in near Denver in Preston Co., the s/o the late John N. and Amedia Ann McGee Goff. He was a retired coal miner and farmer. He is survivied by his wife, Florence Shay Goff; three sons, Ray of Wellsburg, Harold of Keyser and Ross of Rayland, Oh.; three daughters, Mrs. Junior Felton of Rowlesburg, Mrs. Edward Carr and Mrs. Robert Bradley of Morgantown; two brothers, Clarence Goff of Kingwood, and Harley Goff of Masontown; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Shay of Tunnelton; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
