Anna Elizabeth Foglesong was the seventh child of George W. Foglesong and Mary Ann Cromer. Born in Ohio, the family relocated to the Gratiot County, Michigan area in the late 1850s. Following the Civil War, Anna married James Monroe Wallace in May 1868. She and James had nine children: Charles Henry, Albert Golden, William, Bert, Agnes May, Clara Jane, Nettie, Minnie Susan, and Floyd James. A long time resident of St. Louis, Michigan, Anna died from complications of a fall she suffered in December 1928.
