David arrived in Vietnam and was assigned to
Headquarters Battery,12th Marine Regiment,
3rd Marine Division.
While a Marine was cleaning his .45 caliber
weapon he accidentally discharged his weapon
killing David and he died as result of a gun-
shot wound.Official cause of death was due to
accidental homicide.
