Harold Ray Bryan, 83, of Ladson, husband of Helene G. Woizeski Bryan, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Veterans Victory House in Walterboro.

Friends and family may call at funeral home on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 12 o'clock PM until the hour of service. Funeral Services will be held at 1 o'clock PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.

Harold was born on April 18, 1929 in Horry County, SC son of the late Benjamin Bertrum Bryan and Nova Ruth (Bellamy) Bryan.

He graduated from Aynor High School. He was a lifetime member of the Masons, Summerville Lodge 3433.

Harold was a member of Boilermakers Union. He was a cane carver, avid hunter and loved roses and bird watching.

Mr. Bryan was also in the United States Army and a member of Stallsville United Methodist Church. He retired as a boilermaker from Charleston Naval Shipyard.

Surviving in addition to his wife are: Two Daughters: Joyce Bryan Cross of Charleston, SC, Vickie Bryan Glover of Barnwell, SC; Two Step Daughters: Karen Z. Ledbetter of Lighthouse Pt., FL and Cheryl K. Houser of Ladson, SC; One Step Son: Vernon L. Woizeski, III of Summerville, SC; Seven Grandchildren: Patricia Bundt Thomas of Prattville, AL, Slaton Glover of Charleston, SC, Rhett Glover of Barnwell, SC, Amanda Bryan of Barnwell, SC, Alicia Bryan Busby of Washington, D.C., Ashley Bryan McElveen of Beaufort, SC and Crystal Bryan Williams of Texas; 12 Great Grandchildren; Three Brothers: Cleo Bryan of Florida and Carl Bryan of Mullins, SC, and Ivy Bryan of Mullins, SC; One Sister: Ruth Jones of James Island, SC; Numerous Nieces & Nephews.

He was predeceased by a son and daughter, Harold Ray Bryan Jr. and Sylvia Patricia Bryan.
