Excerpt -- On October 16, 1890, of neuralgia of the heart, Mrs. Permelia Simpson, wife of David Simpson. Mrs. Simpson, whose maiden name was Knotts, joined the M. E. Church in 1852, and lived a consistent christian life for thirty-eight years. She was a kind wife and a loving mother. She was 60 years of age. Her remains were interred in the Fellowsville Cemetery. She leaves a husband and three sons, with many friends, to mourn their loss.
