Mr. Thompson was a retired sales representative for Fort Smith Office Supply; a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church; a lobbyist for mental health in the State of Arkansas; a volunteer during Hurricane Katrina; and a caring individual.
Bill Don was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Loretta Thompson, of the home; two daughers: Danielle Allen and Jennifer Thompson, both of Wyoming; a sister: Rama Martin, of Greenwood, Arkansas; a brother: Benny Thompson and his wife: Linda, of Witcherville, Arkansas; 4 precious grandchildren; and a host of dear friends.

The body was cremated under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas.
