Arthur Leo Parrish was the son of Phillip Daniel Parrish and Mary Ann Johnson. Their children were Ewell Vaughn, Henry Clarence, Jesse Leo, Lonnie Dean, and Mary Ann Parrish.
OBIT:
Arthur Leo Parrish, 65, who died Friday evening at his ranch near Longmont, was the former owner and operator of the Rocky Mountain Motel in Boulder. Mr. Parrish, who came to Boulder in 1949 from Childress, Texas, is survived by his wife, Tressie, four sons, Vaughn, of 867 Cherryvale Rd, Clarence of Perryton, TX, Jesse of 1365 S. Foothills Hwy, and Lonnie of Lyons; and one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Mrs. Ann) Alverson, of Berthoud. In addition he is survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one brother, Carl Parrish of Carey Texas. Mr. Parish was a member of the Colorado Cattlemen's Association and the Standard Quarter Horse Breeders Association. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman and a member of Broadway Baptist church of Boulder. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, with Rev Bill Fowler of Broadway Baptist church officiating at Broadway Baptist, and interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Park. Howe Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
