Carrie Christain, 83, of Lecanto, died Sunday, January 25, 2009. She was born to Willis and Roxie (Dalton) Adkins on November 30, 1925, in Harts, WV. She was a member of the Grace Gospel Church in Hunting, WV, she operated the Cypress Springs Boarding Kennel in Lecanto and was a beautician. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Christain of Homosassa. Private cremation will be held under the direction of Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, with services in West Virginia to follow at a later date.
