Mr. Neal Crews, 90, died Monday (July 5, 2021) at Hospice House Satilla after an extended illness.

Mr. Crews was born May 7, 1931 in Brantley County during the Great Depression to the late Hilton Kyser and Irene Crews. He was the youngest of 13 brothers and sisters. Anyone who recalls those times remembers the tremendous challenges everyone faced. Neal rose above those challenges to create a vibrant family life. A lifetime member of Hoboken Baptist Church, Neal served as an usher and deacon for many years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Crews was preceded in death by his first wife, Nell Crews; his second wife, Vivian Crews; and many brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his son, Ricky Crews; and nephews, Eric Tillman.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (July 9, 2021) at Hoboken City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501.
