Clyde Harris Hiatt, 73, of Pleasant Grove, died February 21, 1994 in a St. George hospital.
He was born August 13, 1920 in Provo, Utah to Nathan Dixie and Mertie Adell Harris Hiatt. He married Lois Walker June 20, 1941 in Provo, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove 4th Ward holding the office of High Priest. He had served as Sunday School President and was a faithful home teacher. He owned and operated Hiating Printing in Provo until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the East Bay Golf Assoc. He was a loyal member of the BYU Cougar Club and traveled extensively following the football team.

He will be dearly remembered for his unselfishness and sense of humor. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren in whom he had great pride and love. We love you, Grandpa.

He is survived by his wife, Pleasant Grove; two daughters: Mrs. Arron (LaDawna) Jepson, Sandy; Mrs. Jeffery (Lorene) Hreinson, Lehi; 10 grandchildren; a brother and two sisters: Marion Hiatt, Fontana, California; Gene Larsen and Dawn Nita Barney, both of Provo; preceded in death by a son, Steven Clyde Hiatt and two brothers: Martin Harris Hiatt and Farrar Hiatt.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 No. 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 So. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Saturday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, where full military rites will be afforded by District 4 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
