Ida Bollinger, 79, Dies at Home; Funeral Held Sunday
Mrs. Ida Mae Bollinger, 79, well-known Monroe resident, died Thursday night at 7:15 o'clock at her home in that town. Death was attributed to complications.
The deceased was born in Darke county, Ohio, August 9, 1859, the daughter of Eli and Susanna Cassell. She was first married to John Coppess in 1877. Following his death, she was married to Charles Bollinger, who also preceded her in death.
She had lived in Adams county for 59 years. She was a member of the Monroe M. E. church.
Surviving are two children: Frank Coppess of near Monroe and Mrs. Minnie Babcock, of Grand Rapids, Michigan. One son is deceased. A stepdaughter, Mrs. Paul Johnson, of Monroe; three grandchildren, one brother and one sister also survive.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the church. Burial was made in the Decatur cemetery. The Rev. Hart officiated.
