James "Uncle Jim" Wadley moved to Peco in 1883 from Graham, Texas where he was remembered by all the old-timers. Funeral services were one of the largest in many years. He was a kind father and loving husband and respected and beloved by the whole town of Pecos. He was a member of the Methodist Church for many years.
