1 Nov 1946 - Last rites for J. P. Clower, Sr., age 74 years, were held 2 p.m. Monday from Central Baptist church. Rev. Ray Brown officiated, Massingill funeral home directing.

Surviving are: wife, Mrs. Mertice Clower, Robeline; sons, J. P., Jr., Robeline, J. E., Wewoka, Okla.; daughters, Mrs. E. J. Martin, Mrs. J. A. Crockett, Mrs. V. N. Salter, Miss Bessie Bee Clower, all of Robeline, and Mrs. G. W. Byrd, Vowell's Mill; sister, Mrs. W. H. Peters, Shreveport, and five grandchildren.
