J. P. Clower, Jr., 64, of Robeline, was dead on arrival, at the Fraser Hospital, Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Funeral services were held at the Central Baptist Church, Thursday, Sept. 23, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. LeRoy James officiating. Burial was in the Central Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Surviving relatives are his wife, Opal Clower of Robeline; one son, Charles Wayne Clower of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Marjo Cotton of Shreveport; three sisters, Clarice Salter, Bessie Clower, and Grace Byrd, all of Robeline; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
