STATESBORO -- Rebecca Annette Morton Martin, 39, died April 27 at home under Hospice Care of Savannah. She was a native of Chatham County and lived most of her life in Bulloch County. She had worked for Joy's Play School for 13 years and was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: a daughter, Miranda Lynn Martin of Statesboro; a son, Joshua Martin of Statesboro; her mother and step-father, Ann and Lonnie Tillman of Statesboro; her father, Willard Morton of Pineora; five sisters, Wanda Lynn Morton, Cheryl Morton, Beth Morton and Debbie Morton, all of Pieora, and Terry Morton of Sumter, S.C.; and her grandfather, Ollie Cowart of Garden City; and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Jake A. Futch Funeral Home, burial in Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. -Savannah Now, April 2000
