FARMER, IS DEAD
Recently underwent operation at hospital - Lived in Perkinsville

John M. Johnson, retired farmer, residing at 709 West Fourth street, died at St. John's Hospital at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Johnson was stricken ten days ago. Last Thursday night he underwent an operation for appendicitis. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Rosa Johnson; three sons, E. A. Johnson of Texas, W. E. Johnson, of near Alexandria; Roy Johnson of near Perkinsville; a daughter, Mrs. Attie Adgar (Apgar), of near Perkinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary J. Reason of Anderson, and Mrs. Rosa Anderson. A daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fern Johnson also survives. Mr. Johnson had a farm west of Perkinsville in Hamilton County.

Funerals
The funeral of John M. Johnson will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the home 709 West Forth, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery. Rev O. L. Hull will conduct the service.
