Mrs. Rosa Jane Johnson
Mrs. Rosa Jane Johnson, 89, widow of John M. Johnson, died at her home, 1316 Locust St., at 12:10 p.m. yesterday. A Native and lifelong resident of this city, Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Central Christian Church. Her husband died in 1921.
Surviving are two sons, E. A. Johnson, Huston, Tex., and Roy Johnson, Tipton; one daughter, Mrs. Alta Hosier, Anderson; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Eads, Anderson; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7:30 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Services for Mrs. Rosa Jane Johnson, 89, 709 W. 4th St., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home by the Rev. Monroe G. Schuster, pastor of the Central Christian Church. Interment will occur in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends are being received at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alta M. Hosier, 1316 Locust Street.
Pallbearers will be Harold Johnson, Ernest Johnson, Herbert Johnson, Marvin Apgar, Marion Hurst and Alpha Sayre.
