Abigail and Warren Rusco came to Nebraska in 1875 with their two sons, Will and John. Rusco Township is named after this family.
Abigail, born on July 5, 1818, was married first to John Brown. John and Abigail had four children.
In 1852 Abigail married Warren Rusco. To this union were born three children: Laura Annis, who married James Franklin Hunter; Will Rusco who died in California January 23, 1920; and John James who died in 1904.
Warren died in 1898 and is buried in Grand Island. Abigail died in 1892.
