Frank C. Bradshaw, 81, former blacksmith and onetime city waterworks employee, died Friday afternoon in St. Mary's hospital after an illness of several years.
He had been living with a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Romans of 1232 West Sunset Avenue.
Mr. Bradshaw was born April 2, 1867, in Macon county, a son of Madison and Elizabeth Bradshaw; and was married in Decatur in 1895 to Harriet Lowe, who died in 1914.
He leaves one other daughter. Mrs. Helen Grace of Decatur; a brother, Samuel of Decatur, and three grandchildren.
He was a member of East Park Baptist church.
The body is in Moran & Sons funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Monday in Morans' chapel with burial in Fairlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. today.
