Services for Margret Coren Stallings “Grannie” Hardwick, 87, of Cumberland were April 17, 2015, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Rev. Rick Benson and J.M. Hardwick officiating. Burial was in Marvin Hill Cemetery in Cumberland.
She was born Dec. 4, 1927, to the late Lem and Mary Ellen Stallings. Mrs. Hardwick was a retired nanny, bookkeeper and medical assistant, and a member of Union Church of Christ in Union. She died April 14, 2015, at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia.
Survivors include a daughter; Cathy Norwood of Philadelphia; a son, J. M. “Jimmy” Hardwick of Enterprise, Ala.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gary Gardner, Ken Norwood, Taylor Norwood, Austin Reed, Dennis Reed and Josh Reed.
