Lem was a veteran of World War II earning the Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
Services will be at 3 pm today at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Houston with Chaplain John Stewart and the Rev. Jean Threadgill officiating. Burial will be in Maben Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Stallings and wife, Suzzette, of Oxford; a sister, Coren Hardwick of Eupora; a brother-in-law, Ron Holloman and wife, Jo Ann, of Houston; three granddaughters, Robin Devaughn and Sam of Marietta, Dawn Hailey and Curtis of Brandon, and Stacey Stallings of Starkville; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Darby Devaughn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, on March 19, 2005; his parents; and a brother, Tommy Stallings.
