Zach was an adorable rattie bred by Ratz Realm in Pasadena California. Hilloah is a fabulous rat breeder. To visit her site go to www.ratzrealm.com. Not one of our ratties ever bit us and this is due in large to their socialization as babies at Hilloahs rattery.

He was a Russian Platinum Self Dumbo.

Buck - CWR Mick
Mink Irish Merle Rex Dumbo

Doe - RRLM Osha
Russian Dove Self Velvet

He liked people and would sometimes give kisses. He had a lovely temperament and loved snacks and massages, like all of our ratties. He weighed nearly 2 pounds as an adult. He was a good friend to all his cagemates and was well mannered when spending time outside. Had a habit of hoarding and we joked that he burned his calories that way. Sometimes he would go to the top of the Rudd (a many leveled 5' tall cage) and get something and then make his way to the bottom only to go right back up to get more. All in an effort to keep his prizes hidden from the rest. When he was taking more than his share we would sometimes take them as soon as he dropped them off at the bottom and redeposit them at the top so he was actually making loops for the same food. Silly rat. Loved sleeping and was an excellent pet. He is missed by us and all that knew him.
