Mary Elizabeth Dunn
Mary Elizabeth Fleming was born in Marion county Iowa, May 23, 1864 and died May 3, 1933. She came to Missouri when a child. February 13, 1880 she was married to Joseph William Dunn, in Hamburg, Iowa. to this union was born eleven children, eight boys and three girls. Two sons and two daughters with her husband preceded her in death. Those left to mourn her departure are Jeff of Amazonia; Benjamine, Mrs. Ernest Geoffroy and John of Forest City; Claude of Tescott, Kans.; Seth of Napler; George of Payson, Utah; 21 grandchildren, one brother Ben Fleming of Rossville, Kans.; one sister, Delia Hinton, Pacific Junction, Iowa. She united with the Christian church in early childhood.
The funeral service was held at the Forest City Christian church Friday, May 5, 1933, at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Albert Martin. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Oregon.
