Della Rasband Jones, 97, loved by all who knew her, passed away at home April 18, 1993 of causes incident to age.
She was born May 10, 1895, in Park City, Utah to Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Hawkins Rasband. She grew up in the mining town, attended public schools, and graduated from Park City High School. She attended LDS Business School, and studied business management in Los Angeles. She worked in the Los Angeles area for many years.
Mrs. Jones married E. Louis Jones September 19, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and went to Los Angeles to live. He preceded her in death.
Today we honor her deep faith and life long commitment as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served as a missionary in the Northwestern States. She worked in leadership positions in the Primary, Young Women's, and Relief Society organizations, as well as a Sunday School teacher and librarian. Her life was happy in its dedication to purpose and mission.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. preceded in death by sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Glade and Ethel Mae Lewis.
