This morning about two o'clock the steam ferry boat owned by Frank M. Powers was discovered on fire, but not soon enough as everything was burned to the ground.

Several hundred dollar's worth of tools were also destroyed.

No fire had been near the boat for several days and everything point to the conclusion that it has been set on fire by some one.

Loss $2000; no insurance.

A reward of $500. is offered for the guilty party.
